The centre-piece of the Mount Juliet Estate is a Georgian manor house set within 1500 acres of lush rolling parkland, a picture postcard setting on the banks of the river Nore. There are 32 bedrooms at Mount Juliet House, including two presidential suites. Each room is named, and individually designed, in keeping with the concept of a private, family home. Many rooms have large marble fireplaces and views over the river Nore, the golf course and the distant hills.
A range of dining options are available, with the grand and formal Lady Helen Restaurant serving seasonal Irish cuisine, and the spacious, yet intimate Kendals, with its panoramic views of the golf course and reputation for good, simple food. Snacks and light dishes are served throughout the day at The Presidents Bar, with views of the golf course & practice putting greens from the veranda.
The Spa, which uses the prestigious E-SPA range of products, offers traditional and alternative health and beauty treatments in a discreet and luxurious environment. There are a number of outdoor activities available to guests including fishing on the river Nore or the Kings river, which together make up to 4 miles of river on the estate, as well as a dozen pools for salmon and trout. Alternatively you may choose to explore the spectacular grounds on horse back, as the estate boasts an excellent equestrian centre and stud farm. Shooting and archery are just some of the other activities on offer here.
