Culloden House is an 18th century mansion steeped in history, standing within 40 acres of private grounds that are open to guests for exploration and relaxation. During the Jacobite rising in 1745-46 Culloden House was requisitioned by Bonnie Prince Charlie for his lodging, and was used as his battle headquarters for the Battle at Culloden Moor.
All 28 rooms are individually decorated and mirror the character and age of the house beautifully, while still providing the modern comforts one expects from a luxury hotel. The restaurant has been awarded 2 Red Rosettes for Fine Food by the AA.
