Lochgreen was initially built in 1905 and still features the original wood panelling. Lochgreen House is set within 30 acres of private grounds next to the prestigious Royal Troon Golf Course.
Lochgreen was voted by the AA as Scotland's Hotel of the Year in 2004 and AA 'Inspectors' Choice' Red Star Hotel 2006. It also has a highly acclaimed restaurant which was awarded 3 Red Rosettes for Fine Food by the AA. The Master Chef Bill Costley is also the hotel proprietor and previously helped teach for the Scottish Culinary team.
The 40 luxurious bedrooms are all individually decorated and boast fine antiques with the majority offering panoramic views over the private estate. |
