Scotscraig is a combination of inland golf and old style links. Although not on the sea shore great masses of gorse are blazing spectacularly in late spring, coupled with mature pines and humpy fairways making most holes very penal to the stray shot. |
This James Braid 1920’s design represents a intriguing and varied test of golf among pines & gorse with many memorable holes offering numerous shot options. The par 4 4th hole is very formidable with a well placed tee shot and approach needed to score on this raised and sloping green.
Tucked away on the Tay Estuary this is the 13th oldest golf club in existence emanating a strong sense of golfing tradition and very fine hospitality.
